The Border

The Border – the construction where it was operated the border check of Porolissum – was the first of its kind in the Roman Empire.

The border office from Porolissum was at the boundary. The border unit from Porolissum was part of a structure of buildings made nearby the offices of the border check in the fort that controlled the entry in the city.
